After breakfast we were picked up to head to the helipad to take the flight of the Angels over the Falls. It was truly a great way to see the Falls and understand how The Zambezi river flows. The canyons the water the landscape.
A fabulous 12 minutes!

After the ride we returned to our hotel and went off to shop. There was a local craft market by the hotel. Tons of handmade stuff.
Everyone was bartering, trading and selling.
Troy wanted to get out quick so our shopping was cut short. We went back to the hotel for lunch. It really was unnerving. Then as we walk towards our hotel someone stopped us and asked if we had any clothes or shoes we wanted to trade.
After lunch we walked downtown. We found a seamstress shop with a couple very nice ladies sewing. I found a cute handmade dress for Rose. We walked in and out of shop after shop. I found some patches for my travel shirt, a custom died African print T-shirt for Miles and some handmade jewelry for the girls. I wanted to go back into the craft market.
While I was there Troy went back to the seamstress and had them sew on the new patches I bought and he bought me a pair of handmade Zebra print pants.
We both returned just in time to dress for dinner. A boat cruise on the Zambezi river.

A sunset cruise. It was really fun. A great way to end this portion of our Trip. Tomorrow we divide. Some go home the rest of us go on to cape town for our Post trip. A big travel day.

Wonderful pictures of the Falls. So much enjoyed your journey. You did a great job of making it real of me. Thanks, I so much enjoyed tagging along. What I truly liked was the magnificent wild life. Also, the beautiful people you met along the way. Such a wealth in the midst of poverty. Thank you!!
