We have been traveling now for nearly 24 hours. Flights on Delta and KLM. The first leg to Seattle was ok. Decent meals. Old plane. I started a fat book, Troy had Tv and games. Alls good.

We had a three hour layover in Seattle. We started in the Amex Experian club. Small and crowded but sufficient. Had a drink and a bite then headed to the Delta sky lounge. What a difference. So big and nice. I had some delicious curry lentil soup and a cauliflower pistachio salad. Troy had Clam chowder. We had another drink.

Time to go on the second leg of our trip to Amsterdam. Ten hours. The seats were so nice and food was good. I had chicken and rice, Troy had a tenderloin steak and potatoes and more Movies and games to play. We slept a few hours in our flat bed seats.

We arrived in Amsterdam ten hours later. Early morn. Super busy airport. Very nice. Great shops. A kids play area with a big plane cow looking thing for kids to climb on. Time to board another plane to Johannesburg. Very nice seats again they laid flat into beds.

We had another nice meal. I chose a smoked salmon Salad the Indonesian assortment of fish balls, rice, peanut beef, vegetables. It was really good. Troy had tomato soup and beef and potatoes again.

We slept well for three hours. Both felt much better. As I was reading our vacation itinerary I realized it was Sunday. Our anniversary! We ordered some champagne and strawberries and here we sit. Three hours to go before we land.

We have arrived safe and sound in our hotel! We mentioned it was our Anniversary and the sweet girls sent up a big price of cake.

Tomarrow we are off to Thorne Bush!
