After breakfast we headed out on an all day game drive.
Pride of lions three females five cubs

Two Jackals laying under a Bush. We chased
A pack of dogs. 8-12 went on a chase to get an impala. I’m glad they didn’t get it!
Lots of sunning crocodiles of various sizes
We have spent hours looking for the leopard with no luck.
We stopped for a very nice lunch. At a picnic area in Chobe Park. Lots of meat. I cut up a pineapple to share. I’m not feeling the meat on this trip. So I eat salads and fruit mostly. Sometimes the cook good vegetables as well.

After lunch we went back out to look for the leopard again. The guide was convinced
He was as there based on the bird cry’s of danger.
We drove a long way to see four lions that had just killed a Cape buffalo and were eating it.
So gross. The group was excited. I wanted to puke.
We finally saw the leopard. He was sleeping under a woolly caper Bush. Way back in there. I was on the floor of the jeep as low as I could go trying to take a picture . I got a shot but the visual I got through the binoculars was amazing. I saw him lay there pick up his head and yawn. His teeth were so long and sharp.
So exciting. A few others could see it but not all that well.
Though the Tents were very very nice this resort lacked the African Charm we felt at the other places we stayed. A very young staff. Rob the director was very nice. He did his job and was very accommodating.

Back to camp. High tea, then a rest. I used the time to pack up the bags are getting heavier.
After dinner we did our thank you entertainment. Troy said he wasn’t going to do anything. I told him we would appear rude if we did not reciprocate with something. Since their was internet we decided to lipsink a song.
Troy chose Arizona moon. Steve Martin and Martin Shore in Tres Amigos. Troy did the hand movements and I lipsinked into a hairbrush
The Virginians did the line dance, the Oklahoma crew sang Oklahoma and the New Yorkers did a version of Old Mcdonald using Bush Animals. Pretty funny group.

Off to bed. Another early flight tomarrow morning!
